Cosy and Warm

The weather forecast was so scary it seemed like a good opportunity to set up my little drawing board and make a start on designing the Japanese garden. I set everything up and was persuaded by CH that I should address the whole of the back garden even though some if it is already planted up. So after lunch we fleeced up and trudged out with a rough sketch on a clip board and a measuring tape. We found a fixed point and worked from that. He measuring, me noting down on the sketch plan. We weren't out for long but came back in wet through and frozen. Measurements were barely legible on my rain soaked clip board. Mission accomplished and I've now started to transfer them, using a scale ruler, onto my plan. (Working on a scale if 1:250 mm). It all starts here.
