El Teide!

We have had a long day today, up at 7, picked up by coach at 7.50am.....a really full days island tour, well worth the €28 euros!

We were lucky with the weather, very clear and sunny whilst we went through the Pine forests of the national park up to Mount Teide.

I hadn't planned to use Teide as my blip, as it's such a well known sight, but having reviewed all my shots, this is one I am particularly pleased with. The sun came out just at the right time and lighten up all the various colours in the rocks and lava flows :-)
