A Record Shot

... ie a rubbish one. But great that we saw Redwings from the kitchen window. Four of them. They stayed a while, but they were quite a distance away, and in an inaccessible spot, so even with my long lens it's a record shot.
People made some very kind comments about by birding expertise on yesterday's blip. It seems to me, paradoxically, the more you know about anything, the more you realise you don't know.
it's been pretty windy, but was nice enough to do a bit of work in the garden, and I gave my walking boots a good cleaning. I've had a carpet fitted in the workshop today, so it now looks nice and cosy
