Back to St Marys

A few weeks ago blood was taken. We were told it'd take 4 weeks. The results came back quicker. I'd been pragmatic, not wanting to waste worry unnecessarily, until I was on that train, and on that bus, and waiting in that lobby for Mr B and waiting in that waiting room... Then I wasn't as cool as I had been.

My boobies are petite but I love them. My ovaries have helped make babies and we don't think they're needed to make any more. But I had a 50/50 chance of needing to consider removal of both.

This afternoon I was told my boobies (and ovaries) are mine to keep! I have not inherited the BRCA2 gene mutation from my Dad!
