The bunnet proved its worth today as I had to abandon the bike and get the train to Glasgow. It really is the ideal hat - nicely snug, doesn't block your view but tip your head forward a wee bit and the peak keeps the rain off your face. Perfect. I smugly walked around Glasgow and Edinburgh watching blokes hanging onto their brollies and hoods or just getting their faces lashed with no help from their beanies.And I did spot a lady in a head scarf today. I don't think Mandy has any head scarves. Of course, it looks much better on Ellen and than it does on me.
