Solitude standing

Well it's fair to say that all the planning for the Iceland trip has been largely in vain so far thanks to the elements. Three nights in and we are still to stay in the acomodation that was actually booked and most of the planned shoot locations have been missed. However, this has been a positive as much as a curse in that it has forced us to seek out different locations and make use of the available material. This is in a small park in the lovely town of Borgarnes that brilliantly gave us a display of the Northern Lights which you can see on my Rich Dyson Photography Facebook page.

I have done a conversion to monochrome although the real colours were pretty much monotonic with a slight hint of brown in some of the bark. Hopefully we will get back in track as we try and cover off some of the Golden Circle as well as a couple of waterfalls on the way to the village of Vik. Please Icelandic weather, be nice tomorrow.
