Santa Claus is coming

My daughter invented a new game tonight. She donned the Santa hat and told me to stay put. About 5 minutes later, she returned with a small parcel. She had found a small toy, wrapped it up on some scrap paper and then wrapped a Christmas ribbon all the way around it and presented it as an early Christmas present. I nearly cried.
Then I had to take the hat and the present and re-wrap it and give it to her as a present.
And we repeated this about 5 times.
She worriedly asked if we might be able to play it again on Christmas Day. I said yes we could but I thought she might have a few other presents to unwrap too.
Why?
Because mummy and daddy and your grandparents and so on and Santa will all bring you presents.
If I'm good?
Yes. So let's be good?
Ok then - can we play again?
