Boundary Roses

Part of a route I follow on my early morning walks is around the perimeter of Gateway Vineyard near the Taylor Dam. The boundary is alongside the Taylor Pass Road and there are a few rose bushes planted along the fence. This yellow rose took my attention this morning. There was a light drizzle falling and the roses were looking delightfully fresh with their coating of tiny raindrops.
It has been a memorable day for Keith and me. We have finalized the purchase of another property. It is across town and down a long driveway on a back section. The land area is considerable smaller than our present property and it has a very charming garden and outdoor living area. The settlement date is in early February next year and so we have plenty of time to organise ourselves for the big move. The current owners will be in residence until February and like us they have lots of possessions to move to their next location. We are looking forward to making their acquaintance and spending time over the next weeks familiarizing ourselves with our future home.
