December travels - Day 10

Another day off nursery for Agnes.

I took her to a shop selling Clarks shoes, had her feet measured and bought her a pair.

Measured shoes including Clarks are expensive here and it is more normal to try and buy shoes including for children.

After that it was a coffee and milk along with a wander in the town centre. It was nice to hear the sound of building rather than demolition although there is still a long way to go for all concerned. From conversations I have had while here people are struggling now that it is four years on and it really does look like it will be ten years before normality resumes for the majority.

This afternoon has been playing lots of games using her imagination.

In the blip she is wearing the cardigan I have just finished and the Doc Martens bought great her by uncle Tim which now fit her.
