The Pūkeko

In order to deliver a blip today I had a quick wander around the lagoon next to the house this evening after work, I hid behind some flax and managed to sneak up and catch this Pūkeko on the move.

Getting out looking, watching and waiting for possible shots is a nice way to wind down and to see what I otherwise take for granted. It also make me wander off the path and explore places I’ve never been to before. Grateful.
