That was the best line I have ever heard in any children's Christmas Pageant. EVER!

This was the night that my Eastern States Club sponsored our annual Christmas party for the children of the San Xavier Mission School. The school, which is located on an Indian Reservation, is celebrating it's 150th anniversary.

The club provides, through the generosity of its members, a turkey dinner and gifts from Santa for every child from grades one through four. We also presented the principal with a check for $1,500. In turn, those precious children entertain us with a different version of the Pageant each year.

The Mission San Xavier del Bac has a fascinating history.
