Jackson has arrived
A very wintry, snowy and cold day.
Another early start to get to Edinburgh Airport where our friend, Jackson, was due to arrive from the States. After yesterday, when he didn't show up, we feared the worst when it looked like the last passenger had come through the arrivals door. However, it turned out that, because he was the only African on board, Border Control had some 'questions' for him. All was well and they welcomed him to Scotland.
We were delighted to see him. The journey home to Dundee was a little taxing because of the driving snow but, fortunately, the snow was not lying on the road and we made reasonable time.
We hope the weather will clear up a bit over the next few days so that we can show him some of the lovely spots around where we live. However, we look forward to having him at Church on Sunday and hearing him preach.
I hope you are safe where you are - the snow may look nice but it can be dangerous.
