Her knight in shining armour.

Driving out to St Andrews this morning I noticed something fly off the roof of the car infront of me driving down the road.
A quick glance I noticed it was a purse. So I stopped and picked it up.
The lady got away from me, so once on site I had to go through her purse to find a contact point.
I found her library card and called them to let her know. And I called the police.
I found a number in the phone book and left a message.
Sure enough this afternoon she called me and it was her purse.
So I took it to her house.
She was quite happy to see her purse even if it was a bit damp.
All I asked from her was a photo of us.
I do believe that one should return things like this. It's the right thing to do.
And I would want someone to return mine to if I lost it.
