Piano Recital (2014.345)

Emma sits down at the grand piano in the auditorium of the Music School. Ready to play her piece, "Strange Things Happen."

It was part of a recital given by each of her teacher's pupils. Jonathan also played.

It's great experience for them, and also good for the parents, who've worked through the hours of practice, to see the live performance. And the children get to see the variation in skill between those who are just beginning and those who've been playing for years. It gives them a real understanding of the progress that can be made.

But mainly it's just nice for us to see the children display the fruits of their labours.
