Poinsettias

There were poinsettias of all sizes for sale at the garden centre and they look very healthy. People who bought them had them wrapped in cellophane to keep the chilly wind off them while they got them home, hoping they will last until Christmas.
When we lived in Kenya we had poinsettia shrubs in the garden. They were tall straggly things but at least they were never troubled by chilly winds!
