What no Rudolph?

Weather from hell as I was driving to torture teach English this afternoon at Aldi. Thunder, lightning* & hail on a blizzard scale, apparently Little miss bossy got home and found the cowardly lion daft dog shivering with fright upstairs (just proves how daft he is, surely the safest place to hide from a storm is the cellar?)

I have a weekly 'fight' with reception at Aldi, I have to get to a room in another building but one that's connected to the reception via another building. Am I allowed to get to my room via the other building? Oh no. The visitor's pass only lets you get there by walking outside, fine if the weather is playing nice. On a day like today, where I was seriously concerned about using an umbrella because of wind and lightning?
