red sky in the morning

Very strange light this morning. You could nt see the sun but somehow it was lighting up the garden and the decking and the sky at the top of the field was a lovely shade of pink.
There were several flurries of snow last night but again most had gone by the time we got up with just abit remaining on the higher ground.

The moon was very impressive last night with a complete ring of coloured light around it.Afraid I was too tired to get up to take a photo.

The Christmas cakes are cooked and the mincemeat is soaking. The boys want mincepies at the weekend so I will use some of it and store the rest in the fridge.
