Big R's Work Retirement Bash

The folks who work with Big R planed a nice party for him at a local "watering Hole". It was in the early evening so I drove him down , through a big downpour, to the specified location. Many many folks form the Public Defenders in his office and others as well as court clerks and support staff and supervisors were all mashed into this pub for the event. It was so heart warming to see all the expressions of appreciation and love toward Randy from his co -workers . They clearly respect and care for him and some said he was the "rock" of the place. So many said they could not believe he would not be at his desk anymore...they depended upon him for his advice and guidance in many legal matters. One woman said he was the most non judgmental and caring attorney they had there...and so smart on legal issues...she said he is going to be sorely missed and is irreplaceable. It was a lovely time and I enjoyed seeing him be the recipient, for a change, of all this praise and love.
