Christmas tree

We're (mostly) at home for Christmas this year. Houblon bought a tree today and our assortment of decorations, built up over the years, have been retrieved and placed on the tree, with no concessions to fashion. (My colleagues tell me there are fashions in Christmas tree decorations, who knew, or cared?)

Some of my favourite decorations are the lace stars made by Lapper, yes, she makes the lace, which is brilliant. Then there are the Dutch blue and white china decorations bought on a trip to Amsterdam. Oh, and a New York taxi... No, I don't know why, but it's Christmas...
