making dessert

the plan was to make hazelnut meringue for the base of the raspberry & coffee chocolate ice-cream cake. But a lapse in concentration & the hazelnuts went into the coffee ice-cream... so left with chocolates this morning - they went into the meringue.

A little ambiguety in the ingredient & cooking instructions to manage the change of the volume & shape ...i'm awaiting the outcome - but i did lick the beaters & i have no reason to think this won't be ok. I'll let you know tomorrow - after we eat it at the Tuesday Night dinner party christmas party
