Demolition

Today they tore down the old self-serve car wash across the street from the studio. This backhoe made short work of it too. I would have liked to venture a little closer for some pics but this shot from the roof at the studio is the best I could do on a busy day. The demolition site was insanely loud and at times it shook our entire building. I dread what types of troubles construction will bring.

The guy operating the backhoe was amazingly good. Many of us were commenting that we'd like a few minutes in the chair of one. According to one of my colleagues, there's a place in Vegas where you can pay to operate one in a "big sandbox". Of course there is....
