Chade charp
Learning Khmer poses some problems are there are no commonly agreed phonetic spellings in English. So my method is usually to try and perfect the pronunciation until a Khmer person gives me a nod of acceptance (or pity) and then spell the word out in a way that I will remember it.
Above is how I would write 'banana chip'. Which wouldn't be how anyone else would spell it. But there is method in the madness.
