Dancing on the Pond

It was an interesting trip along my walking path today, as a giant wind storm that came through last night knocked down several big trees, strewing branches and debris everywhere. We were without power for over nine hours and many neighbors still haven't had theirs restored! It was quiet on the pond today, except for this one bird which I think may be a merganser. Just as I was snapping the picture he decided to do a little dance for me.
Grateful today for...electricity. When you are without it even for a short while you realize how important it is!!
