Let's go round again

It's my birthday, and the first day of a brief trip to the continent to see some Christmas markets.
The ferry crossing was nice and smooth, but unfortunately some of the workers at the port of Calais have chosen today to take industrial action, and there's a long delay before the ship can dock. So here we are enjoying the sight of the sun going down over the peaceful waters of the English Channel, while we slowly circle round ... and round ... and round again ....... for two hours.
By the time we arrive at our hotel, it's not my birthday any more !
