Wintry jaunts...
The weather was good enough for the trip up to Oban for diocesan meetings. On the return, the snow and light on Loch Awe side made me have to stop and take a picture. The pylons in the shot come from/to Ben Cruachan, the mountain in the left of the shot, which is hollowed out and has a pumped storage hydro electric scheme. One of the most elegant green projects I recall coming across while training as an engineer - integration of nuclear/coal and hydro schemes. Times have changed, but they are still 'peak-lopping' at Cruachan with a TV schedule!
