Oh Christmas Tree ...

I love our Christmas tree, I love the mismatched collection of decorations, I love the memories that go with them, I love the smiles on the children's faces as they unwrap the treasures to be placed on it's branches, I love that they get excited about the Winnie the Pooh characters that were purchased when Ky was just a baby, I even love the haphazard way the children put the decorations on the tree - I don't even move anything once they've gone bed anymore! I'm not so fond of the annual disagreement about who's turn it is to put the angel on the top although I think it was settled fairly this year. I love that D's contribution is to get everything from the loft and then put the empty boxes and bags away again but to find something more pressing to do while we're decorating, I love our family Christmas tree!
The Christmas jumper got its first outing of the season, Christmas Rhymetime for the toddlers. Lots of fun singing Christmas songs together with the old favourites, there was even a present from Santa.
