noooooooooo nom nom

Just a couple of months ago the wee wee one would nom through a bowl of Weetabixes in a matter of minutes, so pleased was he to be being administered semi-solid foods from a non-organic open container. Now, HE wants to hold the spoon, except he doesn't, "noooooooooooo", he wants to wave the spoon about above his head, particularly on evenings when he's had a bath, but then he grows weary of the spoon and starts scrabbling in the bowl with his fingers, though not to lift the food into his mouth, just to move it around a bit, before lifting the bowl up and putting it onto the table and patting his chest in his incorrect interpretation of the "had enough" sign. The only problem with this is that the less he eats for supper, the earlier he wakes up and starts squeaking, so getting at least one Weetabix down him is a challenge which must be completed, especially when he prefers to lie on his back poking at my nose and cackling instead of drinking his milk at bedtime.
