No shower, no streaking

FRIDAY

The weather conditions are supposed to be perfect tonight for meteor shower spotting, so I wrapped up in several layers of clothing and headed out into the darkness.

The newspapers promised that "spectacular showers of up to 100 shooting stars a minute will light up the skies over Britain tonight" .

Well I didn't see a single streak and in desperation here is my last minute blip of the moon
