Standing guard

Noticed this feline keeping a eye out for intruders in my neighbour's front yard recently. I doubt whether it would pose a deterrent to those inclined to make an illegal entry.
Cats are not my favourite animal at all so it was rather irksome for me to raise my camera for the occasion.

I prefer porcupines as they don't hold any interest with those intent upon their removal.
