A glorious day...

... today was beautiful and started with us ringing a quarter peal to celebrate the 90th birthday of one of the Alderney ringers. When we finished and left the tower it was somewhere after 11 o'clock. The sea was beautifully calm and the sun shining brightly so I decided that it was a good time to try the low ISO setting offered on this camera. I love the darkness of this; but the detail is there and if I wished I could lighten it in PS so altogether better than using too high an ISO and just bleaching out the detail. I do realise the other option is not to shoot into the sun but that is my style; and who knows I may be famous for it in years to come. On the other hand.....
