Sunrise

I used to hate early mornings in the UK- dreading to get out from under the covers and face the cold walk to the bathroom. Now I regularly get up at 6- without that groggy sick feeling- joining a nation of early risers. On this morning we had risen early to drive to some remote communities near the Laos border. As I arrived at the office the sun was just beginning to rise over the rice paddies and the wooden houses that surround them.
