Why Maldon?

I had a lunchtime walk around the local park and a chat with a lady who was walking a miniature schnauzer.

She retired to Maldon only 2 years ago and I asked her "why Maldon?"

I have this question of lots of people since I have been blipping.

I have lived here all my life so it is interesting to hear what attracts others this way.
