Back to the 60's

We have been to the village pensioners Christmas Dinner today, the entertainment that followed was "David and his Dolly Birds" I had been told it was an older group that were entertaining. When they came on stage I knew Dave, last time I saw him play live was in the 60's. I had seen him to talk to often over the years but didn't realise he still played. The dolly birds were 3 older ladies, in fact the oldest was 90 years old. They were very entertaining with their chat and were all in fine voice. We had a lovely afternoon and evening and are so lucky to live in such a lovely village with its hardworking village hall committee who put on this special day for us.
