Meeting Father Christmas.

Amazing day out today at Longleat Adventure & Safari Park.

The park was all lit up with the Festival of Light - a spectacular display of giant Chinese lanterns - and we also went ice skating on the outside rink, to the sound of Christmas carols.
But the best moment of the day had to be the Santa Express to the North Pole to see Father Christmas. The elves knew everyone's name, the grown-ups got mulled wine(!), there was snow on the ground, Mr Snowman was around...... and Father Christmas, in his magical woodland grotto, well it was exactly like walking into a Christmas card. Freezing cold, yes....but, Harry's face was all lit up!
It gave me a warm fuzzy glow, too.
