Indian School
Our fourth day in India.
We started early this morning with a second trip around the Ranthambore wild life park. Sadly, again we didn't see any tigers, but there were plenty of deer and monkeys and a wide range of bird life. A very rough ride in the open topped truck.
Later we set off towards Agra, but a highlight of the day has to be when we stopped to visit a village school. In this government sponsored junior/middle school, the children may have been sitting on the floor in classrooms with no artificial lighting, but they were all well dressed, well fed (the school provided a lunch every day) and well behaved. In fact they were a delight to be with and, in contrast to the UK, there were no restriction on taking photographs of them.
This Year 1 lad was proudly displaying the work on his blackboard.
Back blipped after my return to the UK as I had limited editing facilities with me and intermittent access to wifi.
