Ready, Run and... no lift-off

I spent yesterday evening visiting friends in Lewes and today made a detour up to the South Downs before going home.

It was a beautiful day with hardly a breath of wind. When I've been walking on the Downs before, it's always been really windy. The lack of wind was causing some problems for a group of paragliders. I saw many failed attempts to get airborne (including this one - aborted just after I took the photo). But they all flew eventually.
