Baking

A day of bits and pieces. Titsl frustration (on MY part) at breakfast time because the bubble mix just wasn't working (it was fine yesterday and this afternoon so I'm baffled on that front). But a nice morning all told with a lovely walk in the crisp sunshine after I got back from the post office. And this afternoon we did some baking - I admit I cheated and bought a kit with ready made dough, a star shaped cutter and some decorations included, but Matthew helped (a little) with rolling, and then a fair bit more with cutting, transferring to the baking tray and decorating. I dug out some more cutters from the cupboard and we made trees and tiny stars too. My favourite biscuit is this one that got more than its fair share of smarties and then a star on top too. His favourite bit was probably getting to stand on the step stool. He enjoyed eating some of them too mind. And after dinner we had some really fun playing with hiding and chasing and sliding on the kitchen floor and cars. A good day!
