Feed the birds

I didn't realize how much pleasure I'd get from watching the birds at our bird feeders. As soon as we filled them up we have had a constant stream of visiting birds. While I was taking this picture I heard the hum of a humming bird who had come to check out what was available. I haven't got a humming bird feeder unfortunately but I think that would be a worthwhile addition to our feed the birds programme.

A pleasant day today, with no rain, and the occasional sun breaking through. We had wanted to go to the Christmas Market in Ganges but have ended up waiting around for a delivery. That gave me the chance to catch up on a few chores while Mrs G experiments with baking.
