Season of concerts and recitals

Sue, her daughter-in-law Jane, and Jane's mom, Anne: Jane was showing the two grandmothers a video of one of their grandchildren when a child suddenly needed something just before the holiday recital began.

This year I'm feeling benevolent toward the whole seasonal excitement. The commercialism isn't bothering me as much as it has in past years (whether that's me mellowing out or becoming inured to commercialism, I can't say). I'm enjoying the music, the lights, the concerts, the sugar cookies, the ribbons, the tinsel, the cards, and the wonder of it all.
