The Sawman Cometh

Glad to see the tree was still intact after Tuesday's ice storm. Tom sawed it down and incredibly we got it home in one piece despite the treeman tying it to the roof rack with just 2 measly bits of string after a certain someone told him we "live really close".

Got the tree off the car, into the music room, into the stand and upright with no swearing. Either we're getting good at this or mellow with old age!

Just measured it and it's a nine footer. I think we'll wait till tomorrow to put the lights on. Off to have a well-earned drink now :)
