Mother to exercise class this morning. I went back home to get her glasses she had left in the bathroom and then visited a local craft market looking for Christmas gift ideas. Picked up a couple of cakes of Mother's favourite soap, a paperback of an Ernest Hemingway novel I have not read, a pair of dangly earrings that I will use for decorating presents and a lovely large square of printed cotton that will make a super centre piece for a cushion.

Picked Mother up and off to Christmas lunch with the exercise ladies at a establishment called Fat Harry's!! where the food is good and pensioners get a discount. I had a warm chicken sandwich which was huge. No need to cook a meal this night.
