Ladybird

She came to visit when Mother and I were enjoying our Sunday coffee overlooking the harbour. We had been captivated with the antics of a small flock of Redpoll finches and a lone seagull when I noticed this critter on the outside of my door window. it spent quite a bit of time preening and cleaning and then cleaned it's wings. Such entertainment.

No rain today. Lots of sun and a clear sky but a bite in the breeze that indicates there is still snow on the southern alps.
