Cold Dawn

A day of very intense emotions today; it dawned cold and clear but I was going over to the UK for my mother's funeral and so I was looking at this glorious landscape with a melancholy air. Sad to be leaving home and much of what I hold dear and resigned as to the cause of my journey.
