Haul Away!

The cycling club annual christmas canal ride. This year it was even more intricate and we found ourselves by the Cutty Sark after a brewery lunch stop.

Paul O'Kelly is a folk song specialist and got us all singing a sea shanty in front of the historic tea clipper. "Haul away to Australia". Then we posed for our trade mark Brucie shot.

After that it was down into the Greenwich foot tunnel and back to the north bank. It was dark by the time I got home but the light on the bike just about illuminated the misty towpath.

What a brilliant ride. Well done Ron for organising it and finding the route through the uncharted back ways of south London.
