Black and White on White

This photo was taken a bit earlier, but now the snow has almost all gone as the temperature has risen and there has been some rain.
We took the dogs out for a walk but we all got a bit wet!
Thanks for all the stars and hearts that placed the robin in the spotlight. Always chuffed.
We've received a few cards and so far, six have robins on them. No shepherds, wise men etc yet!!!
Why robins at Christmas?
"When early Christmas cards were produced in the mid-18th Century, they were delivered by postmen wearing bright red coats. These postmen became known as 'robins' or 'redbreasts', and so the bird on the Christmas card was representing the postman who delivered it."
I never knew that until today.
Card writing day. I have a sore thumb already!!!!
