Extreme knitting
You saw it here first!
Lovely concert last night - I even enjoyed the challenge of sight reading a dozen parts (our kit player was politely asked to leave the band a week ago). My favourite pieces were an arrangement of an early French carol by our MD, and 'Benedictus' from Jenkin's Mass for an armed man. The percussion part for the latter is very simple, very loud, very dramatic - and exhilarating to play.
I was going to blip a superb Elizabethan tomb in the church which I admire once a year whilst setting up for our Christmas concert, but I got too busy before we started, and too distracted with packing up when we finished.
Luckily, I had been busy with my new knitting hobby. Extreme, because of the scale, and having to do it after dark.
