Start of another day in Alkham Valley

Early start. Hour of steep hill walking to find a suitable location to catch the sunrise. I wanted to get deeper into the area but I wasn't expecting the hour walk up the hills and through woodland so this is a bit of an emergency image as I didn't have much time.

Bit of a departure for me all this colour malarkey but I thought I would give it a whirl.

On the way down I found a place where I can get my car closer so next time will be a little easier.

Went to watch Paddington with the kids at 10 this morning. They loved it.

I've got a shoulder of Lamb in for slow roasting for dinner in a little while, red wine breathing, no work tomorrow (except reading for my paper)... good day :-)
