Woodland Kingfisher (Halcyon senegalensis)

I blipped him on 10 January as well, but couldn't get close to him, so I promised myself I will get a close-up one day!! Today was that day! ;-)

It was in fact the very first time I saw him in over two months! I must admit, Lillian spotted him today! We had to walk into the long grass fields to get closer, I just prayed we won't meet a snake in there!!

He just sat there for a good ten minutes, allowing met to shoot him a zillion times!! :-)

I 'removed some noise' in Paint Shop Pro 2, and I cropped it, that's the only editing I've done!
