Lock 3 crossing

It is quicker to walk to the shop from my house than to take the car. This is because there are lots of small footpaths around the village and also you can cross the canal at every lock on foot instead of driving to the sea lock where the road crosses. Most of the houses at one side of the canal with the shops (all 2 of them) at the other

This is lock 3 where it is easiest for me to cross. It is a very familiar sight and one I see most days. It is great to have all these short cuts around the village.

Such a grey day with sleet and hail that mono was the only way to go.

Forgot to say that this is my 700th blip.....no balloons at this level, never mind
