Keep the home fires burning

A dreich day. Once everything was fed,spent the rest of the morning hauling stirks from next door to the slatted shed here. The plan is for the Angus bull and bulling heifers to go from their field here over to the shed there sometime this coming week.
Mrs and Miss Farmerboab away for some retail therapy this afternoon. Junior has spent the afternoon with his pals at Airsoft up in the wood. Like paintball ,but with plastic pellets to shoot rather than paint. As usual,when there is a shortage of firewood,there is also a shortage of helpers,so 1 man ,2 dogs and a chainsaw and axe were kept busy for a while. Usually can't get a seat near the stove for everyone else anyway !
